Love Me Like A Loaded Gun is the second single by Army Of Lovers and their first to be included on their debut album Disco Extravaganza. It is their most experimental piece up to date, consisting of house beats, keyboard melody and many many voice samples. It could be very hardly played on any radio, so it got additional remix treatment and different arrangement for an inclusion on the re-issue of the Ride The Bullet single in 1992. Cutting out all of the samples and adding an extra verse performed by Jean-Pierre raised the song to a totally new level.

Various remixes have been made in the year of the original release too. They are available on 7" and 12" vinyl records with a minimalistic art work containing no picture of the trio.

No studio music video was made for the song, but Army Of Lovers performed it on a stage twice. Their first appearance with Love Me Like A Loaded Gun was at an event held by the i-D Magazine in August 1988. And the second show was the Swedish famous DJ Claes "Clabbe" af Geijerstam's show. This performance was filmed and used instead of a regular music video. Unfortunately it hasn't appeared on any video compilation.
